“Shortest Catechetical Media/Tech eLetter Ever” from NACMP Vol. 05 Issue 5

*** Randomness Generator Tools, and other tools like QR code creator, etc. (Thank you, Ms. Tricia Tranel)
(http://www.miniwebtool.com/randomness/) Paste in a list of names, and this tool chooses one randomly. Great for drawings.
But what if you pasted in a list of saint's names for students to randomly choose their research topic? Or Bible verses? Or
questions for Adult Faith Formation? Or.....? Works great on mobile devices too!

*** On the Road to Emmaus (Thank you, Dr. Lori Dahlhoff)
From Outside da Box and the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. (http://youtu.be/OfLFH7JuQYo)

*** How much time do I have to "be sent," cf. to the video above? (Thank you, Dr. Lori Dahlhoff)

*** USCCB Resource of the Day (Thank you, Ms. Barb Simon-Johnson)
Check out this video from the USCCB on MyUSCCB, a new service you can buy into (http://youtu.be/YD5y-nHXdHE).
From their media blog at (http://usccbmedia.blogspot.com/). MyUSCCB is free until July 1, 2014.

*** Cartoon Creating Tool of the Day
Catechists can have a heyday looking at the educational tools provided by http://ABCya.com.
I like the cartoon creator (http://www.abcya.com/animate.htm). Unfortunately it is Flashed based, so it doesn't work on iOS devices.
You can see the write up at http://catechesis20.wordpress.com/2014/04/21/abcya/.  Check out the Word Cloud Creator too!

(This eLetter is a free service from the National Association of Catechetical Media Professionals, http://www.NACMP.org. It is meant to be short. Very short. It is also archived at http://nacmp.blogspot.com. If you would like to "unsubscribe", simply reply to this eLetter and let me know. It will only hurt my feelings slightly!  Blessings!  Tim Welch, President)
